On the Mill Creek Bridge near the center of town, Winnie and Beatrice sat with their legs dangling down. Winnie had brought chicken salad to eat, but suddenly half of the sandwich was gone then a big CRUNCH was heard under their feet!

Later candy was missing from the feed mill store, and a big mess of wrappers was left on the floor! “Who would do such a thing?" cried a girl named Jill. Had a monster come to Nolensville?

A family went to the local orchard. A beautiful place to picnic on the lawn. But when Teddy wanted to pick some apples, all the apples were gone!

That night the Nolensville mayor called for a townwide meeting, to find out who or what was doing all the eating.
